Volunteers Boost Our Impact
Our group is a fun, easy-going bunch of people with big hearts and passion to support local businesses and enhance the quality of life in North Redondo Beach. Meetings and events are led by local volunteer leaders and focus on engaging businesses and connecting residents to the community. Volunteers of all ages and demonstrable abilities are encouraged to get involved. See opportunities below or let us know where you feel there is a need.
Light Bookkeeping
Reconcile accounts, cut a small handful of checks during the year, run P&L and accounting reports for the Board, keep our books in good standing. Could be done on a quarterly basis. Approx. 2-3 hours per quarter. April/May have slightly more activity around WalkAbout but overall a nominal investment of time.
Event Announcements
Once per month, update the website and post to social media announcing general meetings and NRBBA events. Also includes sending out email blasts and keeping email contact list updated in MailChimp. Approx. 3 hours per month. April/May have slightly more activity around WalkAbout promotion but the remainder of the year is consistent.
Secretary
Attend monthly Board meetings to take minutes and action items and reserve Board meeting venue. Assist with pick up of coffee/donuts for general meetings. Attend general meetings monthly as representative of the Board. Approx. 3-6 hours per month.
