The Springfest Teen Talent Competition is your time to shine. Whether you 
play in a band, sing, dance, act, or have a unique skill, this is your chance to showcase your talent to an audience of friends, family, and neighbors.

To Audition, please sign up through our online form and post a 60-second video of your act.


Schedule for Teen Talent Showcase

Thursday, April 16 – Battle of the Bands – 7-9PM

Friday, April 17 – Preliminaries – Singers, Dancers, and Other Acts – 7-9PM

Sunday, April 19 – FINALS  – 7-9PM

Acts will compete for a cash prize of $250. Judges include talent agents, industry professionals, and a Dancing with the Stars pro.

SINGERS and OTHER PERFORMERS:  You will be asked to perform a 2-minute act on Friday, April .17.

Winners will go on to the Finals on Sunday, April 19, to compete to win a cash prize of $250 per category.

KYLE

Kyle's quest to become a police officer took hold during his early teens. His grandmother was the Secretary for the Chief of the Redondo Beach Police Department (RBPD) in the ‘90s, and when he was 14 he decided to become a law enforcement Explorer. Later, he became a Cadet with the Torrance Police Department. Kyle graduated from CSULA with a degree in Criminal Justice. He became a police officer for Redondo Beach and never looked back. Now, officer “Smiley” not only fights crime but fights the hecklers on the Police Instagram page which he hosts. Springfest is excited to have him host Comedy Night!

LEAH MEI GOLD

Leah Mei Gold is an actress and singer, best known for playing Scary in Disney’s Pretty Freekin’ Scary, voicing Sid Chang in Nickelodeon’s The Casagrandes, and guest-starring as Gloria in Nickelodeon’s Side Hustle. She has performed in over 15 professional and community theater productions, including Pugsley in The Addams Family and Jojo in Seussical.

TRISTEN ALLERICK

Tristan Allerick, a senior attending LA County’s HS of the Arts. He’s had major roles in Disney’s Turning Red, Nickelodeon’s The Barbarian & The Troll, and the Japanese Anime film Poupelle of Chimney Town. He’s also had pivotal roles in Marvel’s WandaVision and Netflix’s The Kominsky Method and voiced many characters in Diary of A Wimpy Kid, Ron’s Gone Wrong, Mank, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and Weak Hero. Tristan is currently writing and recording his first album.

ALYSA BRENNAN

Talent Agent
Alysa not only oversees the Paloma Agency and also handles the theatrical sector for teens and adults. Alysa previously worked in investment banking, has owned a successful photography business, built a sustainably-minded home, and enjoyed a long career in theatre, both onstage and as a director and choreographer. She appreciates working with actors and finds joy in helping them share their gifts with the world.

NATASHA REMI

Award‑Winning Vocalist & Songwriter
Natasha Remi is a LA native earned her Bachelors from Berklee College of Music in Boston. She has performed with Haup-Pop Productions, and her original song “Breathe (If I Could Just)” in the film Doggie Boogie. In 2017, Natasha released her first full-length album, Full Circle. She has sung National Athems for the San Diego Padres, LA Angels, and LA Dodgers, worked on commercials for American Airlines, Nike, Carvana, and F45, and opened her private studio in Torrance. Her recent single “Soul Speak” won the 2024 Josie Music Awards Song of the Year in R&B/Soul Category.

JULIA MIRKOVICH​

Choreographer, Dance Educator & Founder of Puttin’ On Productions (POPs)
Choreographer, dance Educator, and Actress, Julia founded Puttin' On Productions (POPs) in 2007 to create a safe space for children to grow personally and artistically. She danced with the Colorado Ballet. Won the LA Teacher Icon Award for Dance and Choreography for La Bayadere, Nutcracker, and Swan Lake. Regional theater: Damn Yankees, Noises Off, & Oklahoma. Ass’t choreographed/danced in the film American Gun with James Coburn. Favorite shows she directed include Beauty and the Beast, Grease, and Matilda. Her greatest role is mother to Jonah and Jet, with husband Mark at her side.

Marti Harris

Coast Music Co-Owner and Band Program Director
Marti Harris relocated to the South Bay from New York City, where she fronted numerous club bands, including Groove Apostle and Night Move. Known for her charismatic stage presence and powerful vocals, Marti also performed leading roles in a variety of musical theatre productions, including Chicago, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She currently performs as the lead vocalist and conductor for Bonnie Foster Productions, bringing her dynamic presence and musical leadership to stages across Southern California. Marti holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, where she studied musical theatre, and a Graduate Certificate from the Jazz Studies Department at USC. Directing the band program at Coast Music is one of Marti’s greatest passions—a perfect blend of her performance background and love of teaching. Energetic, experienced, and deeply committed, she inspires students of all ages to achieve exceptional performances and grow as confident musicians.

Luis Rodriguez

Music and Recordinate Arts Director, Lawndale High School/Duel Enrollment El Camino College
Luis Rodriguez is the Music & Recording Arts Pathway Director and Dual Enrollment Professor at Lawndale High School through El Camino College. With 13 of Career Technical Education Arts, Media, and Entertainment teaching experience and has over 20 years of experience performing and recording music.

Billy Mack

Journey Jukebox
Bill hails from Rochester, New York and was born into a musical family. His parents were professional musicians and inspired Bill to play piano, trumpet vocals, and bass. Keyboards continue to be his passion today. Pursuing a degree in chemical engineering and reaching executive level positions in the materials industry, Bill continued to pursue music as a professional hobby. Bill plays Keyboards and voals for Journey Jukebox, Headlining Springfest on Sat. Apr. 18.

Michael Stancliff

Bilingual Performer, Disney Actor, Events Host, and Singer
Michael Stancliff has been blessed with a Bilingual performance career in English and Mandarin Chinese. First appearing in Wizards of Waverly Place as a child and performing with Disney Cruise Line after graduating from UC Irvine, he has hosted over 200 events in English and Chinese. Michael's Roots are in Musical Theater and performance, winning runner up in the So-Cal Youth Campus Singing competition this last year, singing in Mandarin. He wishes much success, positivity, and future success to all the young talents getting started on their dreams today!!

Doña Oxford

Actress, Singer, Music Producer, Director, Putin'on Producitons
Doña Oxford is an alum of Circle In The Square, and NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and has an extensive musical theater background in local, regional, Off Broadway, film and TV productions. She is has performed with such Rock & Roll legends as Keith Richards, Van Morrison, Roger Daltrey, Bob Weir, Levon Helm, and on Grammy winning albums, & film scores including Eddie Murphy’s Norbit, the Martin Lawrence film Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, Girl’s Trip and Night School. She was the first White Female Rapper signed to a major label in the 90’s. Acting credits on TV’s: Car Lot, General Hospital, and the new Mel Brooks series History Of The World Part 2.

Tim Klega

Producer, Director, Choreographer, Casting Director, Performer, and Educator for Fullerton School District
Tim Klega is thrilled to be returning to the South Bay where he grew up. After graduating from Bishop Montgomery HS Tim set out on his journey with every major theme park in the LA and Orange County area for over 40 yrs. He performed for the Walt Disney company for 10 yrs, helping open Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. Plus traveling all over the United States promoting several major motion pictures in Walt Disney‘s private airplane. Tim owned STG productions for 7 yrs putting shows on cruise ships. He opened Universal Studios, Japan. For almost 25 years was Snoopy’s boss at Knotts Berry Farm. He now is an educator for Fullerton School district inspiring and being inspired by young performers by directing and choreographing their after school programs. And look for him in his new film Aria Re-mix.

SASKIA GAREL

Saskia was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to Toronto. She graduated from York University with a BFA Honours degree and performed in the musical group Coconut Groove, then signed with BMG Music to a record deal as a member of the group Love and Sas where she won two Juno Awards for best R&B recording for "Call My Name" and "Once in a Lifetime." She played Mimi in the musical Rent, and Nala in The Lion King. Her TV credits include roles on Nightman She Spies, Wild Card, Platinum, Tracker, and One On One. She has two children and lives in Redondo Beach.
