NRBBA exists because of volunteers working toward a stronger North Redondo Beach, with economic opportunities for businesses and local shopping for residents. It takes a village.
Get Involved. Make a Difference.
Recognized annually, the Volunteer of the Year goes above and beyond, embodying exactly what makes NRBBA so special.
Comron Roodsari
2025 Volunteer of the Year
Comron Roodsari grew up in North Redondo and discovered the value of volunteering with NRBBA after college, finding a way to build connections while giving back to his community. From placing SpringFest banners at local schools to distributing Dine Around ARTesia posters throughout the neighborhood, Comron is always ready to lend a hand. His positive spirit, reliability, selflessness, and commitment to service strengthen NRBBA and inspire others to get involved.
Jeff Rowe
2026 Volunteer of the Year
For five years, Jeff Rowe has helped make North Redondo Beach cleaner, safer, and more connected through a monthly community initiative that brings together neighbors, students, families, and volunteers. His service also includes volunteering with Beach Cities Health District programs, serving as a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain, and mentoring students. Jeff’s leadership, perseverance, and commitment to service continue to strengthen the community he proudly supports.
Ambassadors
Be the reason someone falls in love with this community. Ambassadors welcome guests at events and turn first-timers into lifelong members.
Learn digital strategy, give back to your community, and build your resume. NRBBA needs a marketing volunteer to help with social media and especially email, a great fit for anyone who loves Canva and digital marketing
Be part of the team behind one of the South Bay’s favorite spring traditions! Volunteers help make four days of rides, entertainment, food, games, and family fun possible. It’s a great way to get involved, meet your neighbors, and help create an event the entire community can enjoy.
Volunteers generally sign up for 4 to 5-hour shifts and receive perks such as a free commemorative Springfest T-shirt and a drink ticket.
Volunteers are the heart of this event, creating a memorable evening of food, art, and community for guests, restaurants, artists, and local businesses. Every volunteer makes a difference.
