NRBBA works to increase economic vitality in North Redondo, honoring exceptional businesses, supporting storefront improvements, and advocating for the business corridors with Redondo Beach officials.

2025 Winner | Al Hamra

A longtime staple of Artesia Boulevard, Al Hamra Kabob Grill has built a reputation for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a genuine commitment to the North Redondo community. From supporting Feed Our Firefighters to generously contributing to local efforts, this family-owned business consistently demonstrates what it means to be a good neighbor. NRBBA proudly recognizes Al Hamra Kabob Grill and Fahad Saddiqui for their generosity, community spirit, and continued support of North Redondo Beach.

2026 Winner | Cookie Zombie

From a home-kitchen idea to a beloved local business, Cookie Zombie has quickly become part of the North Redondo community. Owners Natasha Nyung and Joe Excellent have built a loyal following while consistently supporting NRBBA through raffles, fundraisers, promotions, and community events. Their generosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to step forward whenever help is needed reflect a genuine commitment to their neighbors and the community they serve. Their efforts bring extra joy to local life.

Storefront Improvement Program

NRBBA will advocate for a cost-shared program with the city that helps business owners refresh facades (paint, awnings, lighting, etc.), upgrade landscaping, and/or add murals, which enhances their business and the entire neighborhood. There is no guarantee of city participation.

Business Assistance Request

A direct line to NRBBA for business owners with a question, concern, or opportunity to bring to the NRBBA’s attention.
