Rise & Shine Redondo – Sept 10, Untapped Talent

Untapped Talent – Building Workforce Partnerships 🤝
What if your next great employee is someone you’ve never considered hiring?
Join us for an inspiring and practical Rise & Shine Redondo with Ed Lynch, Founder and CEO of Mychal’s Learning Place. This South Bay organization is breaking barriers and helping youth and adults with developmental disabilities build workplace skills, independence, and confidence.
What began as a father’s vision to honor his daughter has grown into a thriving enterprise that prepares individuals for meaningful employment while helping businesses build stronger, more inclusive teams.
Ed will share the remarkable story of Mychal’s Learning Place, its impact on businesses and families, future growth plans, and his vision for expanding opportunities that strengthen the community fabric of North Redondo.
Business owners will also learn how partnering with Mychal’s can help address workforce needs while creating life-changing opportunities for individuals eager to contribute their talents and become valued members of the workforce. Attendees will also discover how Mychal’s Print & Embroidery (New location opening Summer 2026 at 2202 Artesia Blvd) can provide custom apparel, uniforms, promotional products, and branded merchandise while supporting a mission that creates meaningful employment opportunities.
Join us and experience how inclusive employment, local partnerships, and social enterprise are creating lasting value for businesses, families, and the North Redondo community.
